Emma Ford Grooming Clinic

Emerald Isles Eventing Center is pleased to offer a World Class Grooming Clinic with Emma Ford, head groom to Olympic Individual Bronze Medallist, Phillip Dutton. This one-day clinic is open to all ages and disciplines; anyone who wants to improve their horse health care and management knowledge.
Emma has 20 years of on the job experience to share. (Everything from stable management-first aid-wrapping & leg care to show turn out and clipping). Clinic will start at 9am and run until 4pm, breakfast and lunch is provided.
‘World Class Grooming’ books will be available to buy for $40, which Emma will happily sign. Already have the book, bring it along for signing.

Long Format Clinic

Thinking about heading to Waredaca in October or another long format event? Or maybe just curious about the "original" format of our fabulous sport to begin with? If so, this clinic is for YOU. JH Eventing and Emerald Isles Eventing Center are pairing up for a day full of knowledge, demos, and practice of endurance day. Whether you are using this for prep for your Long Format or looking to solidify your partnership with your horse and participate in a fun day, mark your calendars. All levels from BN through Prelim are welcome to enter. All levels are auditors are welcome for the class room and hands on portion (trust me you'll be full of info and busy!).

-Class room (bring pen and paper, or for tech savvy a tablet): step by step explanation of the Long Format from in barn inspections through show jumping, how to calculate times, what to do in the 10 minute box, supplies, jogs and a Q & A
-Jog demos and practice
-Steeple chase demo
-Tour of phase A & C
-Riders participate in Phase A, B, C & vet box
-Follow up Q & A, awards, and raffles

Riders will participate in all portions. Classroom auditors will participate in all portions except riding! This will be very hands on!

Entry fees:
$125: If entered complete by Sept 10th for all riders
$150: Post entry Sept 11th and after for all riders
$25: Classroom portion by Sept 10th
$45: Classroom portion Sept 11th and after

Space is limited. Complete entries mean clinic application (soon to be available on Eventclinics.com or through email at JLHALLIDAY@comcast.net), payment, and Coggins. First come first serve.

Limited stabling available on site. Additional off site.

Beverages and snacks will be served.
